I'm With The Banned.

Banned Books week is Sept. 24 - Sept. 30, but we're celebrating for the whole month of September! Our new September Banned Books Display is up now, and I'm SUPER excited about it!

The concept was a little inspired by next year's Summer Reading theme (Libraries Rock!)... but mostly it was just inspired by my love of puns and neon paper.

It's a pretty basic idea, but it's certainly eye-catching! We turned a few common banned (or challenged) books into "concert" posters. The designs are all in black and white, and are printed on bright paper. Each design includes the title, author, and reason for being challenged. I added simple clipart themed to each story.

"I'm with the banned" is cut out from sheet music I printed off of the internet.
